How is everybody mixing their Phenergan. Now that is 6.25 mg it makes it difficult to mix. I used to put all 25 mg in a 10cc prefilled but now with the 6.25 mg dose you really have to draw it up in a 1cc syringe to get 6.25 mg. I have been drawing it up in a 10cc prefilled and give 2.5 ml but I would like to dilute it more, like 10cc or more. Also there is a good poster in ST Davids right past the nurses station in crash on the right next to the pixus that gives good tips about giving it and why we are only giving 6.25 now. After seeing the picture of the person's hand I think I will just start giving it IM. I do miss the days when you could give 25 mg to the ETOH pt with N/V and they would just go to sleep.
