This is a very intertaining story with a great lesson. A crew at MR01 ran this call.
Priority 4 backpain. Crew gets there and a lady meets them at the truck. She was, shall we say, educationally and dentally challenged. She stated, he don't wanna go, but his back hurts, he needs to go. The crew walked in the house to find another dentally and educationally challenged male stated I don't know why she called, I told her I wasn't gonna go, I ain't got no dip. The crew tried to convince him to let them check him out, but he said, no, I ain't goin, I ain't got no dip. The guy next to him said, "well, hell, if he doesn't wanna go, I will". The crew, in awe, stated, why do you need to go to the hospital? The guy replied, "my sinus rhythm is messed up". This was quite funny, and the crew felt his pulse............a nice smooth 90/min. His pulse ox was 98%. They decided to put him on the monitor to show him his sinus rhythm was not messed up. Well, to their amazement the guy was in SVT at over 200/min. Adenosine terminated the SVT. WOW!
